Brent crude prices rose by more than 5 percent on Thursday amid renewed concerns regarding oil supplies.
Brent crude jumped by 5.1 percent to $112.84 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose by 2.5 percent to $98.69 per barrel in Asian trading.
