The international food exhibition “Alimentaria 2026” began on Monday in Barcelona, Spain. It is one of the most prominent international events specializing in the food industry, culinary arts, and hospitality, featuring wide participation from operators and experts from around the world.
Algeria is participating in this international event through a special pavilion organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion. The pavilion includes several Algerian economic operators active in the export field, particularly in the agricultural and food industry sectors.
This participation aims to highlight the quality and diversity of Algerian products and promote national export capabilities. It also enables economic operators to explore new opportunities for partnership and investment while strengthening the presence of Algerian products in international markets.
The exhibition, which runs from March 23 to 26, serves as an important international platform for exchanging knowledge, expertise, and insights on developments in the food industry. It also provides a space for developing commercial relations and establishing partnerships between operators from various countries.
This participation is part of efforts to support and promote non-hydrocarbon exports, assist Algerian companies in entering foreign markets, and enhance the competitiveness of national products at the international level.
