Algerian Business Leaders Hold High-Level Talks at SelectUSA Summit, Eye Major US Investment Push

An Algerian delegation of top business leaders, headed by Kamal Moulay, President of the Council for the Renewal of the Algerian Economy (CREA), continued its high-profile activities for a third consecutive day at the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington.

The delegation held a key meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, who expressed his satisfaction at Algeria’s strong representation at the summit. Ambassador Sabri Boukadoum also attended the talks alongside CREA executive members and US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Mark Shapiro.

Landau told dzwatch he was pleased with the outcomes of his recent visit to Algeria, during which President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received him, reaffirming his desire to deepen Algerian-American cooperation.

Algerian representatives spotlighted high-potential industrial sectors attractive to US investors, including energy, agriculture, pharmaceutical raw materials, emerging technologies, and mining under Algeria’s new Mining Law.

The delegation also met with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, where discussions focused on partnership opportunities between Algerian and Oklahoman companies.
