Child, Women’s Protection Key in Algeria-Jordan Partnership

Algeria and Jordan have initiated strategic cooperation aimed at strengthening social protection systems. This new partnership involves discussions between ministers from both nations regarding the exchange of expertise and the activation of a memorandum of understanding.

The collaboration will concentrate on several key social areas. These include bolstering child protection measures, advancing women's empowerment initiatives, and improving care provisions for the elderly and people with disabilities.

Wafaa Bani Mustafa, Jordan's Minister of Social Development, revealed new prospects for cooperation following an extensive meeting with Mohamed Zerket, the Algerian Ambassador to Amman. Their discussions centered on developing these avenues of collaboration between the two countries.
