The agency warned that children are freezing to death due to extreme cold and the lack of adequate shelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and urged the swift delivery of essential supplies to the population, particularly for children, including winter relief materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChildren in Gaza are freezing to death due to cold and the lack of shelter,\u201d Lazzarini stated, pointing out that blankets and winter supplies have been stuck at crossings for months, awaiting approval to enter Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ongoing Violations and Devastation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lazzarini reiterated earlier remarks emphasizing that all rules of war are being violated in Gaza.
