Their repertoire combined traditional songs and dances, accompanied by iconic Gnaoua instruments such as the &#8220;Guembri&#8221; and the &#8220;Tendinit.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their exceptional skills earned the admiration of both the audience and the judging panel, affirming their dedication to preserving this rich cultural legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Winners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Second Place:<\/strong> &#8220;Gargab Zahwa&#8221; from Adrar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Third Place (Tied):<\/strong> &#8220;Noujoum Diwan&#8221; from Sidi Bel Abb\u00e8s and &#8220;Gnaoua Al-Meggar&#8221; from Tindouf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A special award was presented to the &#8220;Sidi Bilal&#8221; troupe from Mascara, recognizing their promising talent. They delivered a soulful set filled with authenticity and spirituality, using traditional percussion instruments such as the &#8220;Karkabou&#8221; and drums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tributes and Cultural Activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The closing ceremony honored the late Mohamed Bahazmen, a prominent figure in Gnaoua music known for his contributions to the genre, including his work on the soundtrack of the renowned war film <em>The Battle of Algiers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival also paid tribute to the late artist Hassna El Bechari, celebrating her rich artistic legacy.
