The event coincided with the national celebrations of the Amazigh New Year (Yennayer 2975) and was held under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, organized by the High Commission for Amazigh Affairs (HCA) from January 10-12, under the theme <em>\u201cYennayer&#8230; The Authenticity of Victorious Algeria Woven by the Castles of Gourara.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Prestigious Cultural Celebration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony was presided over by HCA Secretary General Si El Hachemi Assad, with the participation of presidential advisor for NGOs and human rights Hamid Lounassi, head of the National Civil Society Observatory Nour-Eddine Ben Brahem, head of the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention, and Anti-Corruption Salima Masrati, parliamentarians, representatives of various institutions, and a large audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President\u2019s Prize recognizes excellence in four categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Non-Material Amazigh Cultural Heritage Research<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technological Sciences and Digital Innovation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Linguistics<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amazigh Literature and Translated Works<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Winners of the 2025 Edition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Linguistics:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First prize: Not awarded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second prize: Naima Hamdi (B\u00e9ja\u00efa)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third prize: Ferkanis Elias (B\u00e9ja\u00efa)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amazigh Literature and Translations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First prize: Farhat Amr Ouchaban (Tizi Ouzou)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second prize: Tegourabet Rachida (Tizi Ouzou)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third prize: Houssam Haddad (Batna)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-Material Amazigh Cultural Heritage Research:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First prize: Bezza Abdelnasser (Batna)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second prize: Not awarded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third prize: Mohamed Mouloud El Wass (Tamanrasset)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technological Sciences and Digital Innovation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First prize: Not awarded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second prize: Belkhraz Abdelrazak (B\u00e9ja\u00efa)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third prize: Not awarded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Promoting Amazigh Language and Culture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In his speech, Si El Hachemi Assad highlighted the significance of the President\u2019s Prize, established in 2020 by presidential decree, as one of the most prominent mechanisms implemented by the state to promote the Amazigh language and culture.
