Algiers \u2013 President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, chaired a cabinet meeting on Sunday, March 9, 2025, as part of monitoring the implementation of development projects and national strategies. According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, the meeting addressed several presentations and files related to vital sectors of strategic importance for the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the main topics discussed during the meeting was the transportation sector, with a presentation on the progress of the construction of the railway line connecting “Gara Djebilet” to “Bechar.” This project is considered one of the major initiatives aimed at strengthening transport infrastructure and facilitating connectivity between different regions of the country, particularly in the southern areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
