Algiers – Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Fay\u00e7al Bentaleb, chaired a working session on Tuesday in Algiers to assess the activities of the National Unemployment Insurance Fund (CNAC), according to a ministry statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement noted that the session, held at the ministry\u2019s headquarters as part of a series of scheduled meetings with supervised entities, included a detailed presentation by the CNAC Director-General. The presentation reviewed 2024 achievements, particularly in supporting enterprises, unemployment insurance, and incentive measures to promote employment. It also addressed “digitalization efforts initiated by the fund to enhance performance and improve the quality of public services provided to citizens.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Director-General further outlined “the key pillars of the CNAC\u2019s 2025 action plan,” focusing on “continuing to strengthen digitalization through developing a robust information system for managing the unemployment insurance framework and securing data,” alongside “constructing and equipping new reception facilities with modern standards to ensure citizen comfort and improve service conditions.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minister provided several directives, emphasizing “the need to expedite the implementation of planned projects, resolve pending cases, and redouble efforts to enhance public service quality and effectively address citizens\u2019 concerns.” He stressed “the importance of advancing comprehensive digitalization in managing the fund, aligning with government priorities in digital transformation, while ensuring prompt responses to beneficiaries\u2019 requests.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bentaleb highlighted “the significance of improving performance and services by keeping pace with technological advancements and adopting innovative digital solutions to streamline administrative procedures and boost public service efficiency.” He urged CNAC officials to “strengthen coordination and communication mechanisms among supervised entities to improve operational efficiency and eliminate obstacles affecting citizens\u2019 interests.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
