Algiers – On Thursday, in Algiers, the Sa\u00efdal Group signed a commercial memorandum of understanding with Mauritania\u2019s Chinguitty Pharma Group, aimed at enhancing cooperation in various areas, particularly in supplying and promoting Algerian pharmaceuticals in the Mauritanian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agreement was initialed by Sa\u00efdal\u2019s Acting CEO, Souria Sabah, and the General Manager of Chinguitty Pharma, Omar Mohamed Najem, a company active in the distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, under the supervision of the Minister of the Pharmaceutical Industry, Wassim Kouidri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a press statement, Sa\u00efdal\u2019s Export Department Director, Othmane Meddad, explained that under this cooperation, Sa\u00efdal will initially export its pharmaceutical products to Chinguitty Pharma, which will handle their marketing and promotion to supply the Mauritanian market. In a second phase, Sa\u00efdal will support Chinguitty Pharma\u2019s industrial projects by providing technical and industrial expertise, particularly for a planned pharmaceutical solutions production unit and a packaging and canning project in Mauritania. This unit will enable the packaging of Sa\u00efdal\u2019s semi-finished exported products, as outlined during the signing ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Najem praised the cooperation, describing it as “the fruit of lengthy discussions between the two entities” and noting that it aligns with “the policies of both countries aimed at integration and strengthening joint cooperation in various fields.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, Mauritanian parliamentarian and President of the Mauritanian Health Federation, Sidi Mohamed Ould Essidi, stated that the memorandum “implements the policies of the leaders of both countries and their commitment to developing bilateral political and economic relations.” He highlighted that the Tindouf-Zou\u00e9rat border road will further strengthen these ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
