Osaka (Japan) \u2013 Algeria organized on Wednesday a scientific seminar in Osaka as part of the World Expo 2025, focusing on its national strategy for developing renewable energies and hydrogen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seminar, entitled \u201cRoadmap of Progress and Global Ambition,\u201d was led by experts from the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mines and the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies. It was held within the framework of the thematic week \u201cFuture of the Earth and Biodiversity,\u201d taking place from September 17 to 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the seminar, Algeria\u2019s national pavilion at Expo 2025 hosted open-door sessions to present the country\u2019s energy sector and its ambitions in the transition towards clean energies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, officials highlighted the key pillars of Algeria\u2019s national strategy for renewable energy and hydrogen development. This includes achievements under the national renewable energy program, which aims to produce 15,000 megawatts of renewable energy by 2035. According to Miloud Majled, Director General of Foresight at the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mines, this ambitious program reflects Algeria\u2019s strong commitment to building a sustainable energy future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seminar also emphasized Algeria\u2019s focus on developing human capital, international cooperation, investment, and financing, while showcasing the country\u2019s natural advantages in solar and wind energy resources.
