With this result, the <em>Canaries<\/em> secured their place in the <strong>second qualifying round<\/strong>, advancing on a 7\u20130 aggregate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hosts took control of the match from the opening whistle. Algerian international <strong>Lahlu Akhrib<\/strong> opened the scoring in the 7th minute, before veteran captain <strong>Ryad Boudebouz<\/strong> doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 28th minute after teammate <strong>Bilal Mesraoui<\/strong> was fouled in the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second half continued in the same one-sided fashion. Midfielder <strong>Mehdi Mergham<\/strong> made it 3\u20130 in the 63rd minute, followed by Akhrib\u2019s second goal of the night in the 67th. Substitute <strong>Walid Maliki<\/strong> sealed the emphatic victory with a stoppage-time strike (90+1) after a fine collective move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first leg held last week in Accra, JS Kabylie had already taken a commanding advantage with a 2\u20130 win, courtesy of goals from Mergham (20\u2019) and <strong>Sarr<\/strong> (70\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this qualification, JS Kabylie will face <strong>Tunisia\u2019s US Monastir<\/strong> in the next round, after the latter eliminated Sierra Leone\u2019s <strong>East End Lions<\/strong> (4\u20130, 3\u20131).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MC Alger Also Advances<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Algeria\u2019s other representative, <strong>MC Alger<\/strong>, also booked their ticket to the second qualifying round after defeating Liberia\u2019s <strong>Fassel FC<\/strong> 3\u20130 on Saturday evening at the <em>Ali Ammar \u201cAli La Pointe\u201d Stadium<\/em> in Douera.
