Algiers \u2013 On Sunday, the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Abdelmalek Tachrifet, extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Mujahid and former minister Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi, who passed away at the age of 93.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his message of condolence, Minister Tachrifet expressed his deep sorrow upon receiving the news of Ibrahimi\u2019s passing, describing him as one of Algeria\u2019s most loyal sons who, throughout his roles since independence, remained faithful to the values of November and dedicated to serving the nation. He emphasized that Algeria had lost a figure of great integrity and patriotism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minister recalled that the late Dr. Ibrahimi was among the early generations to join the glorious Liberation Revolution and one of the founders of the General Union of Algerian Muslim Students. He was also a key architect in establishing the National Liberation Front Federation in France, which played a vital role in supporting the revolution abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tachrifet highlighted that the late Ibrahimi performed his national duty with utmost devotion and sincerity, contributing to the internationalization of the Algerian cause and promoting its legitimacy in global forums and through coordination with international allies. \u201cHe was the voice of the wise militant during the era of struggle,\u201d the minister stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reflecting on Ibrahimi\u2019s sacrifices, Tachrifet noted that he endured the harshness of colonial prisons while in exile, yet neither imprisonment nor hardship ever diminished his faith in the justice of the Algerian struggle. On the contrary, these trials strengthened his resolve to continue the fight for freedom and independence, while remaining steadfastly committed to the noble principles of the Revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
