The African Handball Confederation (CAHB) announced on Monday that the draw for the 27th edition of the Men’s Africa Handball Cup of Nations 2026 will take place this Friday at 2:00 PM Algerian time. The draw ceremony will be held at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda, the host city for the tournament.<\/p>\n
According to the CAHB statement, the draw marks a crucial stage in the preparations for the continental championship, scheduled to be held from January 21st to 31st, 2026. The tournament will feature Africa’s elite national teams vying for the coveted title.<\/p>\n
The participating teams have been seeded into five tiers based on their continental ranking. Algeria, the runner-up in the previous edition, has been placed in the top tier alongside defending champions Egypt and Tunisia.<\/p>\n
