Algeria’s Civil Defense services reported extinguishing 50 wildfires across several provinces in the last 24 hours. The fires, which affected forests, scrubland, and thickets, were recorded between 8:00 AM on November 14th and 8:00 AM on November 15th.<\/p>\n
Firefighting teams successfully extinguished 50 fires completely. An additional five fires are currently under surveillance to prevent reignition.<\/p>\n
In Tipaza Province<\/strong>, multiple forest fires were extinguished in areas including Douar Boukhlidja in the Arhat municipality, Ammarsha Forest in Muslimoun, Bouzoula Forest in Hadjret Ennous, Choula Forest in Beni Milek, and Douar El Ikhwa Marsli in Muslimoun. Surveillance operations continue in most of these locations.<\/p>\n In M\u00e9d\u00e9a Province<\/strong>, fires were completely extinguished in the Khazroun forests in Hamdania, Hammam Essalihine in Berrouaghia, and Ben Saleh in the El Haoudane municipality.<\/p>\n Tizi Ouzou Province<\/strong> saw fires extinguished in areas such as Sid Ali Bounab in Tadmait, Ihamzioune village in Azefoun, National Road 24 in Afliisen, and Iguer Mahdi in Beni Zeki.<\/p>\n In A\u00efn Defla Province<\/strong>, fires were brought under control in the Oued El Khemis forest in A\u00efn Bouyahia and a private forest belonging to the Takour family in Tacheta Zegagha.<\/p>\n Civil Defense teams in Chlef Province<\/strong> extinguished a scrubland fire in the Oued Otar area of Beni Haoua. In B\u00e9ja\u00efa Province<\/strong>, multiple fires were extinguished in various municipalities, including Boukhiama, El Merdj Oumane, Aghil Ouzgan, Mesbah, Tizerar, Essour Ait Mbark, Aguelmime Yiker, Kefrida, Ammerate, Azaghar, Djermana, and Ait Bouchrit.<\/p>\n A fire in the Tafaghout forest in Beni Belaid, Jijel Province<\/strong>, was completely extinguished. In Boumerd\u00e8s Province<\/strong>, fires were extinguished in Bouaidel in the Tala Mehdi village of Ammal, the entrance to Ouled Aissa, and another fire within the Ouled Aissa municipality. In S\u00e9tif Province<\/strong>, a fire was extinguished in the Aftis village of Bouandas.<\/p>\n Several fires were also recorded in Skikda Province<\/strong>, where a forest fire in the Bouzouri area of Ouled Attia was extinguished and placed under surveillance. Fires were also extinguished in the Bourouis quarry in El Hadaiek and the Lahjajmia area in Kerkera. In Mila Province<\/strong>, fires were extinguished in the Bounadja forest and Fadj El Besbes in the Grarem Gouga municipality. Fires were also extinguished in Souk Ahras Province<\/strong> along the heavy vehicle road in Mchattat municipality, El Maida area in Sedrata, and Khenfet Ennar in Mechrouha.<\/p>\n Finally, in T\u00e9bessa Province<\/strong>, a fire on Mount Boughafer in the El Houidjebat municipality was completely extinguished.<\/p>\n
