In June 2022, he met with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to discuss bilateral relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Algeria and Venezuela in the areas of energy, trade, and investment. They also expressed their support for each other&#8217;s efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maduro&#8217;s visit to Algeria is a sign of the close ties between the two countries. Algeria is a major oil and gas producer, while Venezuela is the world&#8217;s largest producer of crude oil.
