On a continental and regional scale, President Tebboune emphasized Algeria’s leading role, announcing an initiative to create an ‘African Mechanism for Disaster Risk Prevention.’ This mechanism aims to establish a continental civil force capable of providing rapid and effective support to affected countries and aiding in reconstruction efforts.
