Recent reports indicated a deterioration in her health due to insufficient oxygen reaching the brain.<\/p>\n<p>Born on September 13, 1952, in Belouizdad, Algiers, Biyouna was a prominent figure in both Algerian and European theater and cinema. Her stage name, Biyouna, was a diminutive of her given name, Baya, affectionately bestowed upon her by her family.<\/p>\n<p>Biyouna leaves behind a significant legacy in Algerian drama.
