Large swathes of Algeria are experiencing severe weather disturbances today, Wednesday, with heavy thunderstorms and a noticeable drop in temperatures. The adverse conditions also include significant snowfall in higher altitude regions.<\/p>\n
The national weather service has issued warnings for ongoing thunderstorms across numerous provinces, including: Tiaret, Annaba, Skikda, Souk Ahras, Guelma, Constantine, Bejaia, Setif, Tizi Ouzou, Jijel, Mila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Boumerdes, Algiers, Blida, Medea, Tipaza, Ain Defla, Chlef, Relizane, Mostaganem, Tissemsilt, Djelfa, Mascara, Oran<\/strong>, and Ain Temouchent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n A separate warning has been issued regarding heavy snowfall in areas above 800 meters.
