This reform is expected to provide significant fiscal and operational advantages, according to CEO Hamza Benhamouda.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Benhamouda explained that the transformation involves a comprehensive reorganization, including separating certain activities into independent subsidiaries. This move aims to improve performance and enhance service quality.<\/p>\n<p>The airline is working to convert its maintenance division into a specialized subsidiary and launch a new unit focused on organizing tourist flights. This aligns with a vision to promote specialization and improve operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Air Alg\u00e9rie will support its existing subsidiaries\u2014including Air Alg\u00e9rie Catering, Air Alg\u00e9rie Cargo, Amadeus Algeria, and Domestic Airlines\u2014by creating two additional branches: Air Alg\u00e9rie Ground Operations and an Aviation Training Academy.<\/p>\n<p>The official launch of these two new subsidiaries is scheduled for January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Benhamouda noted that the national airline has accumulated extensive experience and advanced knowledge in various aviation professions since its establishment, possessing competencies recognized by specialized international bodies. This positions it well for a new, more modern, and efficient organizational phase.<\/p>\n<p>He concluded by emphasizing that converting activities into specialized subsidiaries is part of a strategy based on leveraging acquired expertise, sharing risks and costs, and improving operational processes.
