{"id":32278,"date":"2025-12-07T14:11:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-07T13:11:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=32278"},"modified":"2025-12-07T14:11:21","modified_gmt":"2025-12-07T13:11:21","slug":"wahid-calls-for-unified-african-innovation-efforts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=32278","title":{"rendered":"Wahid Calls for Unified African Innovation Efforts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Algiers, December 6, 2025<\/strong> &#8211; Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises, Noureddine Wahid, has emphasized the critical need for African nations to unite their efforts to accelerate the development of a robust innovation ecosystem across the continent and bolster its entrepreneurial landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the opening of the fourth edition of the African Startups Conference today, Saturday, Minister Wahid asserted that &#8220;Africa&#8217;s talents and startups are capable of transforming its future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Africa is changing,&#8221; he stated. &#8220;Its talents and startups are now empowered to reshape the continent&#8217;s future through economic growth that contributes to the global innovation landscape and full integration into the global digital economy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the conference, the Minister highlighted the significance of this continental event, which, since its inaugural edition in 2022, has become &#8220;a pivotal event in the field of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology development, and a central forum for dialogue between decision-makers and key players in the African innovation ecosystem.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wahid further noted that the event serves as &#8220;a strategic space where crucial trends and partnerships are forged, creating opportunities and shaping the continent&#8217;s digital and sovereign future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Sifi Ghrib inaugurated the fourth edition of the African Startups Conference, held at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center.
