Very bad, very bad for the people.\u201d The President made these comments during an event with farmers at the White House on Monday, adding that the United States does not want Europe to \u201cchange too much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump did not elaborate on what he specifically meant by \u201cchange,\u201d but cautioned, \u201cEurope has to be very careful about a lot of things.\u201d His remarks came in response to a journalist&#8217;s question about the European Commission\u2019s multi-million euro fine imposed on the social media platform X.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. President condemned the \u201cnasty\u201d fine levied by the European Union against X, owned by Elon Musk, amounting to $140 million. While admitting he was not fully aware of the details, Trump escalated his tone toward Europe.  \u201cLook, Europe has to be very careful,\u201d Trump told reporters. \u201cThey\u2019re doing a lot of things, and we want Europe to stay Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cIt\u2019s going in dangerous directions, and that\u2019s very bad, very bad for its people, and we don\u2019t want Europe to change that much, and they\u2019re going in very bad directions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the other side of the Atlantic, European Council President Ant\u00f3nio Costa cautioned the Trump administration against meddling in European affairs.
