Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated on Thursday that ongoing negotiations between Moscow and Washington primarily aim to achieve a lasting resolution to the crisis in Ukraine. <\/p>\n
Speaking at a roundtable dedicated to discussing solutions to the Ukrainian crisis, Lavrov explained that Russia is seeking a package of agreed-upon documents that would guarantee a sustainable and long-term peace agreement, while also providing security guarantees for all parties involved. <\/p>\n
He added that Moscow believes that the U.S. President is serious about his efforts to mediate a peace agreement. However, he noted that some European countries are allegedly attempting to undermine these efforts. <\/p>\n
