She asserted that the group calling itself the \u201cMAK\u201d movement has become \u201ccompletely foreign to the Algerian people\u201d and shares no national or political connection with them.<\/p>\n<p>During a party activity held today at the Workers&#8217; Party headquarters, Hanoune directly accused this group of \u201cselling itself to the Zionist entity and hostile regional parties,\u201d prominently naming \u201cthe Emirati entity and the Makhzen.\u201d She believes that these entities are working to \u201csow chaos, dismantle the region&#8217;s countries, and pave the way for the imposition of foreign military bases to plunder the wealth of the peoples.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hanoune emphasized that what is being promoted under the name of \u201cthe Kabyle State\u201d falls within what she called the \u201cGreater and New Middle East project,\u201d stressing that resorting to ethnic pretexts is a \u201cdesperate attempt to divide Algeria.\u201d She added that the residents of the Kabyle provinces are \u201conly the last concern of this predatory group,\u201d which is investing in separatist rhetoric for external purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Despite affirming that this organization \u201cdoes not have a national extension and does not pose a real internal threat,\u201d the Secretary-General called for not underestimating the plan, warning against attempts to blackmail the Algerian state and push it to make concessions that affect national sovereignty. She also praised the popular initiatives calling for raising the national flag in the Kabyle provinces, considering that their message is clear: \u201cHands off Algeria.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hanoune linked her positions to the significance of commemorating December 11, 1960, considering it a pivotal moment in the history of the liberation revolution, when Algerians of all backgrounds came out in support of the revolution and the demand for self-determination then presented to the United Nations.
