Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal, welcomed Chad’s Minister of Petroleum, Mines, and Geology, Ndolenodji Alixe Na\u00efmbaye, to Algiers on Wednesday. The Chadian delegation’s visit underscores Chad’s desire to strengthen bilateral partnerships, particularly within the African continent.<\/p>\n

Discussions centered on deepening collaboration in the fields of energy and renewable energy. Minister Adjal highlighted Algeria’s extensive expertise in energy production, transmission, and distribution, including electricity and gas. He also emphasized Algeria’s advancements in electrical and gas industries, gas turbine manufacturing, and its growing capabilities in nuclear energy for medical applications. Algeria’s experience in renewable energy and green hydrogen was also presented as a potential area for cooperation.<\/p>\n

The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish joint working groups.
