The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has signed an amendment to an investment agreement, extending the completion benefits period for the IMEDIC multi-specialty hospital project in Blida. The extension, granted for one non-renewable year, aims to facilitate the timely completion of this crucial healthcare facility.<\/p>\n
The signing ceremony took place at the AAPI headquarters, under the supervision of the Director-General, Omar Rekkache, and in the presence of Professor Farid Chaoui, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SPA INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL COMPLIANCE-IMEDIC, and Boualem Cherchali, Director of Proximity Health Structures at the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n
Registered in 2018, the IMEDIC hospital project is a key component of efforts to strengthen and develop the health infrastructure in the Blida region. The project focuses on the completion of a multi-specialty hospital with a capacity of 190 beds, located in the municipality of Beni Merad.<\/p>\n
This vital project is expected to significantly enhance healthcare services in the area.<\/em> Beyond its healthcare contributions, the IMEDIC hospital is projected to create approximately 600 direct jobs, highlighting the significant economic and social impact of investments in the health sector.<\/p>\n The extension underscores the government’s commitment to supporting strategic investments that contribute to improving public health and boosting the local economy.<\/strong> The AAPI’s continued support for the IMEDIC project demonstrates its role in facilitating and promoting investments that align with the nation’s development goals.<\/p>\n
