Algiers<\/strong> \u2013 Algeria’s non-hydrocarbon exports experienced significant growth in 2025, surpassing $4.3 billion during the first nine months of the year. This represents a 26 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n

The figures were revealed by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Rezig, during a presentation to the People’s National Assembly’s Committee on Economic Affairs, Development, Industry, Trade, and Planning. The session was chaired by Samira Barhoum.<\/p>\n

Minister Rezig emphasized that the achieved results in non-oil exports are the best compared to the same period in the previous two years, reflecting a tangible improvement in the sector’s performance. He highlighted the positive trajectory of monthly exports throughout the year.<\/p>\n

The Minister noted a clear upward trend, with values rising from $296 million in January, a 12 percent decrease compared to January 2024, to $452 million in October, marking a 42 percent increase compared to the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n

The presentation indicated that July was the most active month for non-hydrocarbon exports during the period, reaching $490 million, a 74 percent increase compared to July 2024, according to the figures presented to the Assembly members.<\/p>\n

This positive trend signals a significant step forward in Algeria’s efforts to diversify its economy and reduce its reliance on hydrocarbon revenues.<\/em><\/p>\n
