Mayor Klitschko stated on Telegram that “Three people were killed in the capital, and six others were injured, with three hospitalized.” Mykola Kalachnyk, head of the regional military administration, urged residents to remain in shelters until air raid sirens cease.<\/p>\n
Ukrainian officials reported that Russian drones targeted Kyiv early Friday, sparking fires in several districts and injuring at least four people. Timur Tkachenko, head of the capital’s military administration, posted on Telegram that the attacks, which began before midnight GMT, resulted in four injuries. <\/p>\n
Tkachenko indicated that fires broke out in various city districts, including a residential building and a shopping center on the eastern bank of the Dnieper River.<\/p>\n
The Ukrainian Air Force warned that “the entire territory of Ukraine is under missile threat” after confirming the presence of Russian missiles in the air. The air raid alert persisted for nearly two hours after the initial drone strikes.<\/p>\n
In the west, the Lviv region was reportedly targeted by a “missile strike” overnight, according to the head of the city administration, Maxim Kozytskyi, although no casualties were reported. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi stated that “critical infrastructure” was damaged, but did not specify the nature of the damage.<\/p>\n
