The new feature aims to centralize users’ medical records and offer an integrated environment for addressing various health concerns in one convenient location, facilitating easy access to information related to medicine, fitness, and nutrition. OpenAI states that seeking answers to health-related questions is a primary use case for ChatGPT, with “hundreds of millions of users logging in weekly to ask health-related questions.”<\/strong><\/p>\n ChatGPT Health (currently in its beta version) allows users to connect to other health applications like Apple Health and MyFitnessPal, offering a holistic experience and accurate information about the user’s health status. The service includes a separate chat history and a memory feature ensuring health conversations remain distinct from other ChatGPT uses.<\/em> Additional protective measures, such as encryption, multi-factor authentication, and a commitment not to use health conversations for AI model training, are also in place.<\/p>\n OpenAI emphasizes that the service is not intended for direct medical diagnosis or treatment.
