The General Directorate of National Domains has announced the nationwide rollout of its comprehensive digital system, known as “Amlak,” across all land registry and state property directorates. According to a statement released by the Directorate, the implementation of “Amlak” is the culmination of ongoing modernization efforts, encompassing updated standards and technical solutions for data management. Some of these advancements were initially introduced during surveying operations starting August 21, 2025.<\/p>\n
The “Amlak” system is designed as the central tool for issuing and updating electronic land titles. The Directorate anticipates that once the necessary technical and organizational procedures are finalized, a phased transition from paper-based land titles to electronic records will commence.<\/p>\n
