Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, reaffirms Moscow&#8217;s unwavering support for Algeria in its struggle against French colonization for freedom and independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lavrov, speaking in the inaugural episode of the program &#8220;Russia Bridges &#8211; The Arab World&#8221; on Russia Today, emphasized, &#8220;It is enough to say that we recognized the Algerian Republic about three months before its official declaration. We acknowledged this government as a new one immediately after the Algerians ended colonial rule in March 1962.
