Last week, the operational services of the Naama provincial security conducted two consecutive operations resulting in the seizure of 80 kg of treated cannabis originating from Morocco.<\/p>\n
According to a statement from the security services, nearly 4 billion centimes in criminal proceeds were recovered, and 13 individuals were arrested.<\/p>\n
The first operation was carried out by the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) in the city of Ain Sefra, where the shipment of drugs was found concealed inside a passenger vehicle.<\/p>\n
Six members of the criminal network were arrested, and a second vehicle used for illegal activities was seized.<\/p>\n
The second operation was conducted by the anti-drug trafficking squad of the Naama provincial security.<\/p>\n
This operation led to the dismantling of another criminal network operating in the Mecheria region, consisting of seven individuals.<\/p>\n
The group specialized in laundering money derived from the proceeds of illegal drug trafficking and distribution.<\/p>\n
The suspects were presented before the public prosecutors at the courts of Ain Sefra and Mecheria.<\/p>\n
