Last week, members of the anti-illicit drug and psychotropic substance trafficking squad of the El Oued provincial security services dismantled an organized criminal network active in the illegal trafficking of psychotropic substances.<\/p>\n
According to a police statement, 180,000 capsules of the psychotropic substance Pregabalin were seized, and two members of the network were arrested.<\/p>\n
The operation was carried out following the exploitation of information regarding the use of a house under construction in the El Oued province to store significant quantities of psychotropic substances for later distribution.<\/p>\n
Consequently, the suspected residence was raided under the supervision of the competent prosecution, where the aforementioned quantity of psychotropic substances was seized and two members of the criminal network were apprehended.<\/p>\n
