A special bulletin also warned of thunderstorms with amounts that may exceed 50 mm until 6:00 PM today in the provinces of Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Setif, Mila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Constantine, Guelma, and Souk Ahras.<\/p>\n
In another alert, the meteorological office warned of thunderstorms exceeding 40 mm until 6:00 PM today in the provinces of Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Bouira, Medea, Blida, and Ain Defla.<\/p>\n
The same services predicted heavy snowfall on mountain peaks exceeding 1,000 meters in altitude, with thickness potentially exceeding 25 cm until 6:00 PM today, in the provinces of Blida, Medea, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Setif, and Bordj Bou Arreridj.<\/p>\n
