The Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Abdelhak Saihi, has issued strict instructions regarding the handling of appeals from young people who were unable to benefit from the unemployment allowance. These appeals are to be processed through a dedicated digital platform called “Insat” at the National Employment Agency.<\/p>\n
During an inspection visit to several facilities and bodies under the sector in Algiers on Thursday, the Minister ordered the updating of the platform to allow for the remote study and processing of appeals. This update aims to enable applicants to follow the progress of their appeals with full transparency and ease, ensuring their right to a review of the decisions made regarding their cases.<\/p>\n
The Minister also emphasized that responses must be convincing, immediate, and supported by legal evidence. He stressed the need to strengthen digital support mechanisms and improve the quality of public service, reflecting the sector’s commitment to the principles of fairness, efficiency, and transparency.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Saihi highlighted the necessity of mobilizing the required human and technical resources to ensure the smooth operation of this platform. He called for periodic monitoring of its effectiveness and performance evaluation to meet the expectations of young people and enhance their trust in state institutions.<\/p>\n
Through this initiative, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security reaffirmed its commitment to establishing a modern, effective, and transparent administration that prioritizes the citizen. Minister Saihi’s inspection visit included the Algiers branch of the National Social Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS) and the local agency of the National Retirement Fund (CNR) in Algiers Center. This visit was part of the field follow-up on the implementation of digitalization projects, according to a ministry statement.<\/p>\n
The visit, which took place in the presence of the High Commissioner for Digitalization, Meriem Benmouloud, aligns with the Minister’s efforts to personally oversee the progress of digitalization projects.
