Sonatrach President and CEO Nour-Eddine Daoud\u064a held a high-level meeting Tuesday at the group’s headquarters with Park Jong-han, South Korea’s Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs and Special Envoy of the South Korean Foreign Minister, in the presence of senior Sonatrach executives and a delegation of South Korean foreign ministry officials and embassy representatives in Algiers.<\/p>\n
Talks centered on expanding commercial ties between Sonatrach and South Korean companies, including crude oil and petroleum product supplies \u2014 particularly naphtha \u2014 with both sides discussing the possibility of signing mid- and long-term marketing contracts.<\/p>\n
The two parties also explored South Korean technological expertise in upstream oil and gas activities and petroleum services, areas of strategic interest to Sonatrach.<\/p>\n
Both sides agreed to establish a dedicated dialogue and exchange platform to identify partnership opportunities between Sonatrach and South Korean energy firms.<\/p>\n
