Speaking exclusively to dzwatch, the minister highlighted the critical challenges facing Africa, including persistent malnutrition and the rising cost of healthy diets, compounded by limited investment in the agricultural sector. He stressed the urgent need for collective action built on policy coordination, increased investment, and innovative sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n
The minister showcased Algeria’s achievements in precision agriculture, drip irrigation, desert farming powered by solar energy, and agricultural mechanization \u2014 sectors that have driven significant progress toward national food self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n
