The ongoing state visit by Chadian President Mahamat Idriss D\u00e9by Itno to Algeria is set to elevate these bonds of brotherhood and solidarity to new horizons, crowning a series of recent high-level exchanges between the two countries.<\/p>\n
Algeria was notably selected as guest of honor at the international mining and hydrocarbons exhibition “SIMECA Chad 2026” in N’Djamena, where President Tebboune stated that Algeria remains “ready to share its expertise and accompany Chad’s efforts in structuring its strategic sectors through practical cooperation.”<\/p>\n
Three bilateral cooperation agreements in the hydrocarbons sector were signed in N’Djamena last January, covering exploration, production, human resources development, and expertise exchange. A direct air route between Algiers and N’Djamena was also inaugurated last October, opening new horizons for economic exchange and people-to-people connectivity.<\/p>\n
