Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune declared Wednesday evening that the outcomes of his high-level talks with Chadian President Mahamat Idriss D\u00e9by Itno represent a significant milestone in building a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.<\/p>\n
Speaking exclusively to dzwatch following the summit held at the Presidency of the Republic, Tebboune stated: “What we have achieved today marks an important step toward building a fully integrated strategic partnership,” reaffirming Algeria’s unwavering commitment to standing alongside brotherly Chad in forging “a successful African model of African-African cooperation.”<\/p>\n
The two leaders signed nearly 30 agreements and memoranda of understanding, covering energy, mining, infrastructure, transport, industry, pharmaceuticals, and trade. Both presidents also agreed to reinvigorate the Algeria-Chad Business Council and strengthen security coordination to combat terrorism across the Sahel-Sahara region.<\/p>\n
President Tebboune also highlighted Algeria’s readiness to train Chadian cadres and share its expertise across multiple sectors.
