Algeria’s national football team will kick off its World Cup 2026 preparations on May 25 in Algiers, ahead of the tournament running from June 11 to July 19, the Football Federation of Algeria (FAF) confirmed exclusively to dzwatch.<\/p>\n
“The preparatory camp will launch on May 25, 2026 in Algiers, before traveling to the Netherlands for a friendly match on June 3, 2026, allowing the squad to finalize last-minute adjustments,” the FAF told dzwatch.<\/p>\n
The federation confirmed that travel arrangements to the United States were coordinated with official partner Air Alg\u00e9rie. The camp schedule was revealed during a Federal Bureau meeting held at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa, chaired by Walid Sadi.<\/p>\n
Marking their return to the World Cup after missing the 2018 and 2022 editions, Algeria will compete in Group 10 alongside defending champions Argentina, Austria, and Jordan.
