Minister of National Education Mohamed Seghir Saadaoui chaired a national videoconference on Tuesday evening to assess the education sector’s preparedness for upcoming official examinations, with the national baccalaureate at the forefront.<\/p>\n
The meeting brought together senior officials from the central administration, the head of the examinations cell at the National Office of Examinations and Competitions, and education directors from across the country’s wilayas, according to a ministry statement issued on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
During the session, the minister stressed the importance of completing all organisational, technical, and human resource preparations to ensure the 2026 examination session is conducted under optimal conditions. He called for strengthened coordination with local authorities and security services to secure examination and correction centres, while also directing that contingency centres be put in place to handle any unforeseen circumstances.<\/p>\n
The minister further emphasised the need to provide comfortable conditions for candidates, particularly in regions experiencing high temperatures during the examination period.<\/p>\n
On the issue of exam fraud, the minister noted a decline in reported incidents during the previous session and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing and intensifying anti-cheating measures.
