Speaking exclusively to dzwatch following high-level talks with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the presidential complex in Ankara, Erdogan emphasized that Algeria stands as one of Turkey’s largest commercial partners on the African continent.<\/p>\n
Erdogan told dzwatch that efforts have been intensified to reach the $10 billion bilateral trade volume target set in 2023, noting that over 1,600 Turkish companies are currently operating in Algeria, executing major projects in industry, mining, and agriculture.<\/p>\n
On energy, the Turkish president highlighted that both nations have built a long-standing, reliable, and sustainable cooperation framework, stressing that the two countries will continue advancing long-term energy supply security, particularly in natural gas.<\/p>\n
