{"id":60994,"date":"2026-05-22T17:15:39","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T16:15:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=60994"},"modified":"2026-05-22T17:15:39","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T16:15:39","slug":"seven-innovative-projects-crowned-at-africa-sipsa-innov-agricultural-competition-in-algiers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=60994","title":{"rendered":"Seven Innovative Projects Crowned at Africa SIPSA Innov Agricultural Competition in Algiers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seven innovative projects across various agricultural sectors were crowned Thursday in Algiers at the sixth edition of the <strong>Africa SIPSA Innov Sid Ahmed Farroukhi<\/strong> agricultural innovation award, held on the sidelines of the 24th International Fair for Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Industries (SIPSA).<\/p>\n<p>From nearly 100 startups competing across AgriTech, FoodTech, and AquaTech categories, 20 projects were shortlisted, with seven ultimately winning \u2014 including six Algerian startups.<\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Mounir Korbi, Deputy Director of Agricultural Research at the Ministry of Agriculture, told <strong>dzwatch<\/strong> that first place went to Algerian startup <strong>B3 AQUA<\/strong> for its advanced aquaculture equipment. <strong>Biofertech<\/strong> claimed second place for its carbon footprint reduction technology, while <strong>Papy&#8217;s Farm<\/strong> took third for innovative lettuce and aromatic herb production.<\/p>\n<p>The event also honored winners of the national extra virgin olive oil competition, with 182 participants and 137 medals awarded.
