Algeria’s tourism sector is experiencing remarkable investment momentum, with 280 new projects registered since the introduction of the new investment legal framework in November 2022, the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, Omar Rakkache, told dzwatch.<\/p>\n
Speaking at a study day in Mostaganem, Rakkache revealed that registered projects as of May 15 represent an investment volume exceeding 257 billion dinars, expected to generate over 17,000 direct jobs alongside numerous indirect positions.<\/p>\n
He announced that significant real estate portfolios will be released in coming days, coinciding with the activation of the digital investor platform within the new single-window framework across wilayas including Mostaganem, Boumerdes, Algiers, Jijel, Annaba, and several southern provinces.<\/p>\n
Rakkache praised President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s reforms, crediting them with dramatically enhancing Algeria’s attractiveness as an investment destination.
