Algeria has been awarded the bronze "Labaytum" prize in Mecca, recognizing the exceptional services provided to pilgrims during the 1447 Hajj season. The accolade was presented by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah at the "Khetamouhou Misk" event, marking the conclusion of the Hajj season.<\/p>\n
The award acknowledges Algeria's exemplary efforts in organizing and delivering services related to Hajj rituals. The evaluation criteria included procedural documentation, accommodation and catering contracts, internal and external transportation, and adherence to operational standards.<\/p>\n
Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youcef Belmehdi, expressed pride in this distinction, noting it as a testament to Algeria's consistent presence on award platforms for the third consecutive year. He attributed this success to the diligent efforts of all mission members.<\/p>\n
Minister Belmehdi further highlighted the special attention given by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Algerian pilgrims, emphasizing his commitment to ensuring all necessary means are available for them to perform their rituals under the best conditions. He commended the mission members for reflecting an honorable image of Algeria and bringing joy to pilgrims through this achievement.<\/p>\n
The Minister also extended his gratitude to the Saudi authorities for their fruitful cooperation, which was instrumental in the success of the Hajj season. He expressed hopes for Algeria to continue its achievements across various sectors.<\/p>\n
