Algeria has been honored with the 'Labaytum' bronze award at Mecca for its exceptional services rendered to pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1447 AH. The prestigious accolade was presented by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, recognizing the diligent efforts of Algerian missions in providing top-tier support to pilgrims.<\/p>\n
The award ceremony, held during the 'Khetamouhou Misk' event marking the conclusion of the Hajj season, acknowledged Algeria's exemplary organization and delivery of services related to the Hajj rituals. Evaluation criteria included procedural documentation, accommodation and catering contracts, internal and external transportation, and adherence to operational standards.<\/p>\n
Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youcef Belmehdi, expressed immense pride in the achievement, noting that this marks the third consecutive year Algeria has been recognized with such distinctions. He attributed this success to the unwavering attention given by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Algerian pilgrims, ensuring all necessary means are provided for them to perform their rites under the best conditions.<\/p>\n
Minister Belmehdi also lauded the contributions of the mission members whose efforts have reflected positively on Algeria's image and brought joy to the pilgrims. He congratulated the pilgrims on the successful completion of their religious obligations and wished them a blessed Hajj.<\/p>\n
