Algeria's national football team coach, Vladimir Petkovic, has unveiled the highly anticipated roster of 26 players, plus one reserve, selected for the 2026 World Cup.<\/p>\n
The announcement was made during a press conference held at the "Mohamed Sellah" conference hall within the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki. The Algerian squad, known as 'Les Verts', has been drawn into Group J for the global tournament, where they will face reigning champions Argentina, Jordan, and Austria. Their opening matches are scheduled for June 17th, 23rd, and 28th, respectively.<\/p>\n
The team has commenced its preparation camp at the National Technical Center (CTN) in Sidi Moussa. To further fine-tune their readiness, the squad will participate in two friendly matches. The first will be against the Netherlands on June 3rd in Rotterdam, followed by a clash with Bolivia on June 10th in Kansas City, USA.<\/p>\n
