The first contingent of Algerian pilgrims successfully returned to their homeland on Sunday afternoon, concluding their Hajj rituals for the 1447 AH \/ 2026 CE season. The pilgrims arrived from the holy sites after completing their spiritual journey.<\/p>\n
Comprehensive facilities were ensured by the relevant authorities at Houari Boumediene International Airport to guarantee the comfort of the pilgrims and provide them with a seamless reception. This first group, comprising 399 male and female pilgrims, received a distinguished welcome upon their arrival, greeted by their families and representatives from sectors involved in organizing the Hajj operation.<\/p>\n
Addressing the press, Mohamed Zaghdani, Deputy Director of Information at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, lauded the "well-organized conditions and continuous support provided to pilgrims in the holy sites by the Algerian Hajj mission." He emphasized that the operation "concluded with success under the supervision of the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youcef Belmehdi, head of the Algerian Pilgrims' Office."<\/p>\n
Zaghdani further noted that the return flights for Algerian pilgrims will continue until June 23rd, operating from 12 airports nationwide and transporting a total of 41,300 pilgrims. Several pilgrims also expressed their appreciation for the "excellent conditions" facilitated by the Algerian state throughout their stay in the holy sites, enabling them to perform their religious duties in the best possible environment. The welcoming reception was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Redouane Maach.<\/p>\n
