The Algerian Red Crescent (CRA) is launching a multidisciplinary medical caravan to serve the residents of Bordj Badji-Mokhtar from June 2nd to 6th. This initiative underscores Algeria's commitment to enhancing healthcare services and making them more accessible to all citizens, particularly those in remote areas.<\/p>\n
The solidarity caravan will cover both communes within the wilaya: Bordj Badji-Mokhtar and Timiaouine. It comprises nine practitioners specializing in dermatology, cardiology, internal medicine, gynecology-obstetrics, orthopedic surgery, urology, otolaryngology, and general medicine, as detailed by the caravan's coordinator, Mehdi Belaouer.<\/p>\n
Activities will commence at the Tati-Ghali mixed public hospital in the wilaya's capital commune. Subsequently, the caravan will move to the 1st of November polyclinic in Timiaouine, located 150 km east of Bordj Badji-Mokhtar, on Thursday. The community of Abane-Ramdane, situated 50 km east of Bordj Badji-Mokhtar, will also receive medical attention, including examinations, consultations, and the distribution of essential medications. Approximately 9,000 medication units have been allocated for the region's inhabitants.<\/p>\n
This medical caravan aims to bring specialized healthcare closer to the population, conduct vital medical examinations and consultations, manage pathologies, and provide health advice and recommendations. It is a significant step in reinforcing solidarity efforts and improving healthcare access for residents in underserved areas, reflecting Algeria's dedication to the well-being of its citizens.<\/p>\n
