{"id":6233,"date":"2024-04-21T11:59:23","date_gmt":"2024-04-21T10:59:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=6233"},"modified":"2026-09-04T02:43:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T01:43:21","slug":"signing-of-the-deal-for-the-algerian-national-center-for-digital-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=6233","title":{"rendered":"Signing of the Deal for the Algerian National Center for Digital Services"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algiers &#8211; Today, Saturday, in Algiers, the contract was signed for the establishment of the <a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-external\" data-dzsl=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Special:Search?search=Algerian%20National%20Center\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Algerian National Center<\/a> for Digital Services between the High Commission for Digitization and the Huawei Consortium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a press statement, the High Commissioner for Digitization, Mariam Ben Mouloud, who presided over the signing ceremony attended by the Chinese Ambassador to <a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-internal\" data-dzsl=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?cat=1\">Algeria<\/a>, Mr. Li Jian, and the CEO of Huawei Algeria, explained that such a deal between the High Commission for Digitization and the Huawei Consortium will &#8220;steadily advance towards the realization of the wise directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune aimed at achieving digital governance by modernizing state institutions and improving their services.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She highlighted that the project will &#8220;enable the hosting and centralization of national data within the country, thus enhancing the nation&#8217;s digital sovereignty,&#8221; and &#8220;will foster increased cooperation between the two countries, which are linked by a comprehensive strategic partnership.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the same context, she affirmed that to transfer expertise in this field from high-<a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-internal\" data-dzsl=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?cat=38\">technology<\/a> projects, involvement of local digital actors and Algerian economic partners will be secured for certain aspects of the project, enabling them to benefit from this high-level expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project, she added, will also &#8220;provide access to highly advanced technological infrastructure to secure a unified and exclusive digital pathway for public services, localize solutions and data, establish a national database for digital services, and incorporate the use of advanced technologies such as <a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-internal\" data-dzsl=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=60464\">artificial intelligence<\/a> and big data.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his part, the Chinese Ambassador stated that the Huawei Consortium will transfer modern digital technologies through this project to benefit Algerian talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/dzwatch.dz\">dzwatch.dz<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Algiers &#8211; Today, Saturday, in Algiers, the contract was signed for the establishment of the Algerian National Center for Digital Services between the High Commission for Digitization and the Huawei Consortium.
